Resident Engineer (PRI Scheme)

Job Description

As Resident Engineer you will be joining a leading consultancy based in Northern Ireland with a growing portfolio of Clients throughout the UK and Ireland. Due to on-going success and contract awards they have a requirement for Resident Engineer to supervise a public realm scheme in Athlone. This is a contract role likely to last 12 months.

As Resident Engineer you will be responsible for site supervision of a Public Realm scheme and associated works.  To be considered for the role you will have the following experience:

  • Previous experience supervision of a project of a similar scale and complexity i.e. a public realm\street enhancement scheme  within the past 5 years, at least one of which has had a construction value in excess of €1,000,000.
  • A Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Capable of writing clear and concise reports and keeping works records.
  • Chartered Engineer accredited by Engineers Ireland or equivalent.

You will also have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to act within a team at all times.
