On Wednesday 24th September, Mid & East Antrim Borough Council invited local residents, businesses and visitors to the review the new plans for the town and share their feedback.
The plans include a new visitors' centre to a town wall walk, public realm works and the return of the historic tall ship Result, part of ambitious plans for the heritage-led regeneration of Carrickfergus.
The event showcased the latest designs for the £42 million Carrickfergus City Deal Regeneration Project - a once-in-a-generation investment that will transform the historic town into a vibrant, heritage-led tourism destination and establish it as the ‘Gateway to the Causeway Coastal Route’
Many thanks to Tandem, SLR, Alastair Coey, Pale Blue Dot & Navigator Blue for their involvement and M&EABC for hosting the event.
