Some of McAdam’s new recruits recently undertook a full days Water Safety Awareness training with a mixture of classroom and on-site learning. Many thanks to Kevin Howlette from UK Emergency & Fire Safety for making the training insightful and fun to learn. The training took place on the same week as the WHO World Drowning Prevention Day and the recent spate of warm weather and subsequent accidents highlights how dangerous water can be, even to those experienced swimmers.
