McAdam Design is one of the largest independent multi-disciplinary consultancy practices in Northern Ireland. Established in 1963, the practice initially focused on Civil Engineering Projects with Architecture added as a separate discipline in 1975.

Project Management, Building Surveying and Health & Safety Management were added to this portfolio in 1989.

In 2000 the current directors implemented a dynamic re-structuring of the practice which involved being the first NI Consultancy simultaneously certified for ISO 9001 Quality Assurance, ISO 14001 Environmental Management and OHSAS 18001 Helath & Safety.

This management structure combined with our client-centred approach reflects a determination to deliver a quality service while providing sustainable design solutions.

In 2004 we acquired Geodelft Environmental which reinforced our commitment to environmentally sensitive solutions. This has been reflected in consistent delivery of projects with the highest UK environmental certifications, attracting national and regional awards for our design work.

The company currently employs 90 professional, technical and support staff and is headed by three Directors:
