3 Peaks Walk

On 21st August some members of McAdam Design staff took part in the 3-peaks walk, summiting, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon consecutively over 3 days. The walk was organized and supported by McAdam design in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.

Each day a peak was climbed and then on to the mini-bus for an average 5hr drive to the next. Against the high winds and extreme weather conditions each mountain was summited in around 5hrs.

The fund raising involved a table quiz, generously supported by other construction firms and general companies, with donations provided for our raffle. Through this and sponsorship we aim to have raised in excess of £2000.
