Saintfield WwTW

Work commenced in June 2008 on the construction of a new wastewater treatment works on the site of the existing treatment works in Saintfield, Co. Down.

McAdam Design are Project Managers on the project as part of the NI Water Integrated Wastewater Framework South Region.

The new works costing approximately £4.5m is due to come into full operation by March 2010 and will enable the works to cater for projected future population growth and comply with improved discharge standards as set by the Northern Ireland Environment Agency.
