Connswater Greenway Project

First Minister Peter Robinson officially launched the Connswater Community Greenway project today 24 October at East Belfast Partnership‘s new offices on the Newtownards Road.

McAdam Design have been nominated as the “Employers Representative” to assist EBP over the next 5 years in the delivery of the project through to handover to Belfast City Council and the end user the community of East Belfast.

The project consists of the construction of 43 Bridges, 19Km of foot and cycle paths, 9Km of linear greenway, 11 Hectares of improved parkland, remediation of 5Km of polluted rivers, the provision of a civic square and linkages to other community facilities including schools, leisure centres, health centres and the main commercial/retail areas.
